Common Misconception
Is thicker SPC flooring better?
This is a common misconception. The thickness of SPC flooring does affect the feel and durability, but it doesn't mean thicker is always better. For most home environments, a thickness of 5mm to 6.0mm provides sufficient stability and comfort. The lifespan of SPC flooring is primarily determined by the quality of the surface UV coating and the wear layer, not the thickness of the flooring itself.
